I'm really angry.

Okay, late last year we started getting respit care and therapy for my brother who has autism. Well, at the begining of this year, we had to hire a new respit worker for him since we lost respit from the Mathew's Center. This particular worker's name was Dacandi. Currently, he's in jail. Not only did he cheat on his wife but he also abused her and we hadn't been able to contact him for weeks until his girlfriend (not his wife) told us where he was. Now, we're losing the Mathew's Center and all the ABA therapy that was helping my brother.

Why do these kinds of things happen today? Why can't anyone get decent services for children with autism?! My brother isn't potty-trained, can't hold full conversations and spits food at people- my mother is handicapped-you expect my mother to handle all this? Granted she isn't really alone, but even then, it's very hard.

So, we've had an abusive adultering husband watching out autistic child ALONE (that's what respit care is) and we lost our only hope of him ever being potty trained.

Thanks America for your crappy ass health care system which makes it more difficult for sweet, loving children in need of specific services that could potentially help them live independantly.

You suck balls health care system.
